Spring is Here
The sun is shining, the flowers are blooming and the bluebells are slowly beginning to rise up from the forest floor here in the Forest of Dean.
Yesterday I was walking all day long, exploring the woods and enjoying the fresh air after a week of rain and study. Ah, the feeling of being outdoors and wandering about aimlessly after completing my final essay in Celtic History. Freedom!
I just love this time of year. How the forest floor is transformed from brown to bright green. The sound of the birds singing. New life stirring. Walking barefoot again.
Every year the beauty and miracle of spring still fascinates me. It is especially magical up here in the north, where the winters are so long and dark. Seeing the sun again and feeling the warmth is such a blessing after the long cold months, even if I love the winter as well. I find every season has its charm!
This world never ceases to amaze and enchant me.
